ORLANDO, Fla. — State and military law enforcement authorities have launched a multi-agency search for Private Tatianna Astin, an active-duty military service member currently wanted in connection with a violent assault and attempted murder in Central Florida.

According to authorities, the incident occurred late Tuesday evening at an upscale commercial complex, where Astin allegedly confronted a high-ranking corporate executive. Investigators report that an argument quickly escalated into physical violence when Astin struck the executive multiple times before placing him in a severe chokehold in an apparent attempt to end his life.

Witnesses nearby intervened after hearing commotion, forcing the attacker to flee the scene before law enforcement arrived. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he remains under treatment for serious injuries, including airway trauma and severe facial contusions. Medical officials indicate that the victim is currently in stable condition.

Active Search and Public Safety Warning

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), in coordination with local police departments and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), has issued an active arrest warrant for Astin. Charges listed on the warrant include attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery with severe bodily harm.
