DJ Live Wirez was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. The 8 times national Billboard charting DJ, emcee and producer signed his first recording deal at the age of 12 with a rap group named “5 Deep”. His stage name at the time was “Lord Terra”. As time progressed, in the early 90’s, he was signed to B Boy Records where he became label mates with KRS One. As he continued to pursue his dream in music, he soon found himself helping form the super group, “Brooklyn Zoo” with Basha, Elite, ODB, Rab and Pauli. From there he created a rap group called “The Body Snitcherz”. While his resume shines brighter than most, he still continues to hold passion in helping improve the culture of Hip Hop. Today, DJ Live Wirez ensures that he stays ushering in new talent by scouting and placing them into positions to win. Since 1997 he has been broadcasting 22 hours a day, 7 days a week on air, via his Live Wirez Radio show. Currently he sits as the COO of Klymaxx corporation, the founder of So Serious Television, host of “Wu Wednesday” where every other week he has a celebrity guest from Wu Tang join in. Lastly, he hosts “Hype Saturday” with his co-host Rayn Jackson on the Wu Worldwide DJ Coalition where he is head of both the California and Florida division.
While DJ Live Wirez has had a magnificent career thus far, he still manages to show the world that he is no where near done. Just this past year, one of his songs featured on a compilation titled “Predicted Platinum Deluxe” that soared the Hip Hop iTunes chart and ranked at number 1.
It even gained recognition by one of the The Breakfast Club’s hosts, Charlamagne. In addition to that, the project also charted number 12 on Billboard. His latest solo compilation titled “DJ Live Wirez Money In The Grave” where he features another set of worthy talented artists, was recently released in November and once again, ranked at number 3 on the Hip Hop iTunes chart.
