Erica Mason is a viral hip-hop and R&B artist/songwriter from Gainesville, FL who is passionate about empowering people to find freedom through discovering who they are through her musical journey.
Erica’s most recent project titled “Camouflage Day” produced by Atlanta-based producer and engineer, Farro Jarro, became an immediate chart-topper, hitting both iTunes and Amazon landing at a peak of number 1 on Amazon and number 12 and 13 on iTunes R&B/Soul charts (Dance and R&B Genres). The project itself features a total of 7 versions with instrumentals and acapella vocals available for DJ download. From the original R&B/Soul, Dance, Afrobeat Remix, Drill Remix, Sped up, and Extended versions, anyone listening to either of these selections is bound to find a love for them all.
She even received a welcoming love gesture from Amazon Music’s Instagram profile signaling their support of the project.
Inspired by her personal struggle with depression, Erica released her sophomore EP entitled "Seek Life" which reached #35 on the iTunes charts. Shortly after, she launched a mental health clothing brand focused on reminding people that they are not alone in their journey. After scaling her company to a quarter of a million dollars in one year, she began to add fuel to the fire by making music for the soul. Erica released a series of songs that went viral on Instagram and Tik Tok that include "Addicted To My Phone", "Unappreciated" and "Better". As Erica began to write about her personal healing journey, she grew to over half a million followers across her social media platforms in 90 days. Erica is passionate about building genuine connections with her listeners. As she began to remove her layers and become more transparent with her audience, she shared her personal experience of dealing with suicide, depression, and anxiety which opened the door for Erica to partner with non-profit organizations offering hope to the masses.
Recently Erica signed a label deal with Lonely Chapel whose mission statement reads as such,
