Takira was born July 30th on the westside of Chicago, Illinois. She is an R&B/Urban singer, songwriter, dancer, & actress. Her talent came naturally as she discovered her passion for singing at an early age. She has been involved in gymnastics, track & field, award-winning dance teams, & has been singing in church choirs for 10+ years.

Takira has won numerous talent shows & singing competitions around the city of Chicago. She graduated from Alan B. Shepard HighSchool & attended college for 2 years before fully committing to her career.
