Introducing Memphis Artist, King JBoi

Born and raised in the streets of Memphis, Tennessee, King JBoi emerged on the music scene with an attempt to change his life and the lives of those around him.  The life experiences depicted in his music, along with a passion to learn more about the industry, developed JBoi into the artist he is today.  “I’m very influential in the streets, and I’ve always liked music”, says King JBoi.  With his experiences, life lessons, culture, and environment—JBoi has multiple influences from his life that contribute to his unique sound you hear today.

JBoi created his own path navigating through the Hip Hop world by creating the L.i.E. (Loyalty Is Everything) organization in his youth.  Increasing his passion for Hip Hop as an art, culture, and lifestyle—JBoi released his mixtape “Street Prophecy,” followed by a series of NBA themed mixtapes that included “Lebron James,” “Wilson Chandler,” and “Scottie Pippen.”  He also added, “What I’ve learned is, if you want it—go get it.  They don’t give million dollar checks out of pity.”

Recently, King JBoi reappeared on the music scene with a new EP entitled “Holy Trinity”, aiming to solidify his independence in the industry.  Featured singles “Really Impressed,” “Still No Deal,” and “Holy Trinity'' are some of the favorites from the EP.  These songs illustrate his history in the streets and evolution in the music industry.  He says, “it shows all 3 sides of me,” and that’s important to him as an artist.  “Coming from a world as a ‘dope boy’ to starting a nonprofit as a ‘mentor’ to priding myself on being a ‘father’ has created the person I am today,”  King JBoi added.  This project has created a one-of-a-kind sound with a high amount of authenticity.

In King JBoi’s spare time, he wears many hats—stepping outside the traditional box of just a Hip Hop artist.  Achieving his Masters in Sports Administration, after playing basketball in college, was first of many achievements.  He used his Masters degree to create something bigger, and with a few years of hard work—he founded his nonprofit, Team JBoi.  “The organization serves to fund athletes of all sports with equal opportunity, and gives them a platform that otherwise wouldn’t exist for most,” says JBoi. Helping the next generation is a true milestone in his life, and there is so much more to come from him.

The release of ‘Karnivor’ sees Genesis Z going back to his roots. He has worked with names like Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, SPLIFF STAR, Rah Digga, Nate Dogg 213, and Korn, but ‘Karnivor’ hears a return to his original sound and is an innovating and exciting release.

Tendai Joseph Chafa-Govha is known by his stage name, ‘TENDAYS’. Tendai being pronounced ‘Ten-Die’, and TENDAYS as ‘Ten Days’. He is a Miami-born, Broward raised upcoming innovator who has now moved over 1,000 miles away from home to Philadelphia in hopes of achieving his dreams as he lives with his producer and best friend, SCOT. Ebrahim Manneh aka DripE is a 22 year old, born on January 29th 1998 in Washington D.C an raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Kevin "Khao" Cates is an American record producer and entrepreneur from Montgomery, Alabama. Cates rose to prominence for his early involvement with American hip-hop recording artist T.I.’s record label Grand Hustle Records. Cates has produced for notable artists such as Jay-Z, R. Kelly, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris and Young Jeezy. The RedrumSociety formed in the year 2008 in South Florida with four newly made friends, it felt like a match made in heaven. Band members Esperanzo Wilcox, Esdras Reymond, Zach Cohen, and Dylan Lerner. The band members originate from different upbringings, each experiencing diverse cultures, music, and backgrounds which created RedrumSociety funky sound.

The passing of band member Dylan, at the age of 17 shook Redrum Society to its core. Ultimately it was only Zach, who’s now living in South Florida. Till this day he carries on the legacy of RedrumSociety name and tradition. Zach symbolizes the heart of the original sound in which he says the music is supposed to be “in your face, against the grain mindest”. It’s music that speaks about what we all feel but don’t say out loud. That theme still stands today.

The RedrumSociety has gone through a lot of drastic changes since 2008 when the group was formed, but they’ve always come out the crumble and continued to put out great music for their fans. RedrumSociety Prepares New Acoustic Album For Release

The album, titled “Redrum Acoustic Vol. 1”, will mark an interesting departure from previous sounds. Normally the band blends an interesting mix between indie rock and alternative. This new acoustic album offers a different sound altogether. The album is a remix of previous released tracks; Ego, Crumble, How I Cope, and In My Bed. This acoustic album can go a long way to help open up the Palm Beach-based band to a whole new audience.

Moving on from the success of each single release and a successful performance on “60 Minutes”, the band looks to have found an new musical niche. Having gained positive headlines earlier on in the year by donating royalties to affected music execs during the COVID-19 crisis, the band now is back on the musical scene and releasing new content.

The album, which is expected to be released this month, will focus on topics that will feel close to the heart of many music fans today. An acoustic sound offers an interesting departure from previous works, creating an interesting blend of sounds and themes from a band with a quickly growing reputation.

The Band Sebastian Is #9 On The Billboard Classical Crossover Charts

The Band Sebastian is a musical group out of Orange County, CA.  Formed in 2016, "The "Band Sebastian" has a youthful, tenor vocal tone and romantic lyricism combined with a unique piano and drum style that blends soulful pop and rock sensibilities in a positive vibe on-stage persona by singer/songwriter Sebastian Aguirre and his son, 9 year old Drummer Prodigy Nicolas Sebastian Aguirre.

The Band Sebastian made it’s very first Billboard debut under Amada Records. Sebastian Aguirre received his Bachelor of Music in Music Composition from the University of California at Irvine in 2002, a Master of Music in Music Composition from California State University at Fullerton in 2004 and a California State Single Subject Teaching Credential in Music from the University of California at Irvine in 2006.  Sebastian has been performing lead vocals and keyboards, composing music for independent films showcased at international film festivals and teaching vocal and piano music of all ages throughout Southern California since 2002. ‘My Love Won’t Wait’ by The Band Sebastian’s physical release has also made it onto Walmart.com.
