Born in Staten Island, raised in New Jersey, artist Taurie dove into the music industry with a full head of steam. Pursuing her interest in music Taurie took her talents to the studio for the first time at 19yrs old, and the rest was history. “Always been interested in music and encouraged myself to go into the studio where I also taught myself how to play five musical instruments”, says Taurie.

The representative from Hush Media Networks informed us that Oliver Warders requested $25,000 in cash to remove the rip off reports he posted on the company and their well known brands including Amada Records, 97.5 The Beat Las Vegas, & more. The company has lost $100,000+ from investors due to the situation but months later sold for a whopping $200 mil. The new owners of the company plans to take action against Oliver Warders this month.

You could say that blackmail is a specific subset of extortion.” With extortion, a person makes a threat, often physical or destructive, to obtain something or to force someone to do something. ... With blackmail, a person threatens to reveal embarrassing or damaging information if a demand is not met.

Lili, often known as Tokyo Dream Girl Lili is a singer based in Japan. She is mostly known for her 2021 single Sushi which peaked to 11th position of Billboard's international chart of world album as of October 2021. She is known to have worked with Amada Records, DME World, Line Records etc. She also heads Tokyo Dream Girl.

Q. How do you feel about the music scene in Japan?

A. I love Japan but the music scene in Japan is very different than in the United States. I really love the R&B and hip-hop from America. There are some Japanese artists that I really like a lot too but my music is definitely not like anyone else’s in Japan. I’m happy that I have been accepted into the American music scene. I feel so comfortable right now because I have a chance to work with a lot of really good artists from the states who I grew up listening to. I’m so happy about that.

Q. What is different about Japan and Korea when it comes to music and entertainment?

A. I think that until recently Japan has always been ahead of Korea in terms of being noticed on the world stage. Japan has always been in the middle of pop culture on a global level because of our anime, rich history, Godzilla, etc. Recently K-pop has become really popular and I think that’s because of the way talent is trained in Korea is very harsh and more strict compared to in Japan, especially when it comes to dancing and singing. The other thing is that record labels and entertainment companies in Korea spend way more money to push their artists internationally.

Q. Do you have any advice for aspiring Japanese artists who want to be international like you?

A. Study hard and don’t follow the Japanese system because it doesn’t work outside of Japan. Also if they want to go international then they will need to learn how to speak English and not be afraid to network with people in other countries. It’s really hard to be living in Japan and be an international artist at the same time but it’s not impossible.

Vincent Lyn Promotes World Peace On New Single Featuring Melissa B.

Just Imagine — that on earth all human beings were united as one, living together in harmony. We all know how beautiful that would be. What a wonderful world it could be…

We were able to speak to Vincent Lyn about his recent release with Melissa B and here is what he said:

“Four years ago my colleague Melissa Bailey (Melissa B), an incredibly talented singer/songwriter/performer and fellow Grammy artist approached me and said, “Why don’t we write a song about global peace?” 2017 was a devastating year with natural disasters such as catastrophic floods, wildfires, and earthquakes affecting millions across the globe. So, it certainly seemed like then was the right time. And so I sat down at the piano and jotted down some chord changes and a bare melody, and over the course of a few weeks had something that I liked. I passed it along to Melissa and she started writing some lyrics. Months passed and we threw ideas back and forth and made some brief changes and then Melissa called up a friend Armand Hutton who collaborated with her on adding some changes to the lyrics. But the song sat collecting dust, weeks went by, then months and years passed.”

Fast forward 2021 and those natural disasters have increased ten-fold. COVID-19 continues to ravage the world. We are seeing not only a 100+ year pandemic but also the effects of climate change that we can no longer as a global society just brush under the rug. Even more depressingly, the study from the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) shows that the world has gotten progressively less peaceful since 2017. Out of 162 countries, 151 of the world’s nations are currently involved in some form of conflict. It is sad to say, but there are currently ongoing wars in 40 countries, most of them in the Middle East, North West Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa, and a major ongoing drug war in Mexico.

If there ever was a time to release a song about global peace and uniting people now was the appropriate time. Look around, the world is on the precipice of catastrophic proportions, unlike anything we’ve seen in over 100 years. COVID -19 has changed the landscape of our world. Many parts of the world are still locked down and many of us took true value in the solitude and made good use of the time. For example, I wrote a book on my humanitarian experiences that has just been published with Barnes & Noble — Childhood Lost.

Just Imagine People United then rose from the ashes. It woke us all up to the calamities ravaging our world, the timing was right, the stars were aligned, and we all felt that the release of Just Imagine People United needed to happen. It took on a globe-trotting production and connection of artists, musicians, producers all over the world. A collaboration was made with colleague Nuno Olim Marote who has an NGO in Portugal called Give Peace A Voice and together with Lyn’s international foundation We Can Save Children an amazing initiative was formed.

A gomesi or busuuti is a colorful floor-length dress. It is the most commonly used costume for women in Buganda and Busoga. Traditional male attire is the kanzu.

Melissa recorded her lead vocal in NYC. Nuno Olim Marote founder of Give Peace a Voice invited Lyn to travel to Portugal to record the piano part and met with cello composer Manuel Faria and prodigious cellist Irene Lima and together they recorded their parts. But the song needed a choir and it had to be the orphaned youth that Lyn worked with in Uganda. Vincent Lyn’s first meeting with Buyinza Morgan was in 2016 when he went to Uganda on a humanitarian mission to aid him and the 300 orphaned youth that were at his high school. Buyinza at 20-years old was leading a group of singers called the Precious Choir. Lyn called Buyinza and told him about the song and he was very thrilled to be a part of the project, and so the Precious Choir recorded their parts in Uganda. All the members traveled a few hours by bus from their village in Wakiso District to the capital city of Kampala. There they would all be huddled together in a very cramped and spartan recording studio, certainly by western standards. There were days they had no electricity and would just sit around for hours waiting and praying it would come back on. But it was all worth it. It was the icing on the cake, and we all felt magic had been made.

To think “Just Imagine” was recorded in the far reaches of the world during a global pandemic. It’s truly astonishing. Melissa Bailey (Melissa B)and Vincent Lyn created a small seed 4 years ago and together with co-lyricist Armand Hutton, now the world can hear their magic.

Melissa Bailey, known famously for her stage name “Melissa B.” brings a sensation to her fans with her performing the national anthem performance during the Celtics vs Nets Game. The New Yorker stunned everyone with her amazing vocals and a voice filled with passion and melody before the game.

The New York singer, Melissa B began taking interest in singing when she was just 5 years old. Knowing that she would become a singer, Melissa kept growing her passion and worked hard to achieve her glory.

As a child, her inspiration was herself and Whitney Houston. Whitney was an inspiration because of “her grace on the stage and how she composed herself as a lady on the stage. I wanted to compose myself like her and she surely inspired me to become a graceful singer,” Melissa added.

Upon asking about how she worked that led to her status today, Melissa mentioned her engineer Michael Ashby. “Working with Michael is truly great and it’s just like I’m getting all the help I need. We connect greatly, working out together and drawing energy from each other to get the things done.”

Melissa B’s latest release “Disconnect” is making the headlines and so, sources got to know about it from the artist herself. “I was advised to hit the audience from the first note, taking the stage and then commanding the audience with my voice. That is the best advice I would say I got. As for my music, I tend to create something that is going to last forever. Even if you listen to it after 5-10 years, you’re still going to get the same alluring vibes you got it from day 1,” she added.

Melissa is truly a big fan of Whitney Houston and fans have even termed her Whitney’s potential child in case Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston had one. She’s not only passionate about her music but is also focusing on making changes in the music industry.

“I want to see more indie label artists in the industry. If I had a chance to change things in the current industry, it would be motivating artists to launch their indie labels. This would allow the lost ones to know how to progress in this domain and working on the right aspects of this business. That is what I would love to change and would surely work on changing in the current industry,” Melissa stated.

As for inspirations, Melissa gives credit the most to her father. “One of the best things my father did was to teach me to stick with combining music and technology. This is my charm that makes me different from the rest of the music artists in the industry and I’m proud that I listened to my father,” Melissa stated.

Melissa B’s performance at the game was no less than any show-stopper and certainly gave her fans a treat for the good. She’s set for new releases this year and fans would surely love to hear more from her given the current pandemic situation ruining lives.

RedrumSociety Shares New Alternative Single 'Crumble'

Stop moaning about the weather and catch up on some of 2020’s best alternative releases. RedrumSociety is gearing up for a new release of their video “Crumble”. The song and video is premiering on Valentine’s Day. After releasing four songs, which had little success, the band finally experienced a victory with their fifth release: “Ego”. The music video gained the up and coming band extra momentum, and the song briefly reached the iTunes pop charts.
