Career Background and Production History
Born and raised in Buffalo, Edalo began establishing his career in the early 2010s. In 2012, he collaborated on the track “Mariposa” with Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls, alongside Kenny Hawkins and Jerry Livingston. He was subsequently commissioned by the estate of Ray Charles to co-write and produce a tribute project featuring Charles’ grandson, RobTwyce, which yielded the 2015 single "You."
Edalo debuted as a solo artist with his 2015 full-length instrumental album, Faith, which charted on the iTunes Top Instrumental Music Albums list during its release year. His self-produced sophomore effort, California Rush (2017), integrated live instrumentation, including guitar and saxophone with electronic elements. He debuted the project at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, sharing the bill with artists such as ROZES, Kent Jones, and Malik Yusef.
Recent Commercial Activity and Touring
Following the release of his 2020 album Driftin, Edalo completed a 10-city East Coast tour. His commercial visibility notably increased in 2023 when his single "Mirage" reached No. 1 on the iTunes Electronic charts. Concurrently, the music video for his track "Never Enough" secured broadcast rotation on MTV and was supported by billboard placements in Times Square, Queens, and Buffalo.
The producer maintains an active touring schedule, having played more than 200 live shows over the course of his career. His performance history includes sold-out dates at The Viper Room in West Hollywood, 7DrumCity in Washington, D.C., and Buffalo's 9th Ward at Babeville. Most recently, his 2024 and 2025 itineraries have included stops at venues such as Meow Wolf in Dallas, The Summit in Denver, and Kleinhans Music Hall in his hometown.
