Editor’s Notes: Nike continues to showcase the resurgent Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 following an initial collaboration with Stüssy. Ahead of their second foray, we receive a look at an upcoming mainline colorway dressed in “Triple White.”

This isn’t the year’s first in-line launch of the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2, however. The sneaker recently dropped in two general release colorways of red, white, and silver as well as grey and silver. With summer right around the corner, we expect the “Triple White” iteration to be in high demand.

Nike has yet to announce a stateside release for the all-white Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2, but we do know that it is expected to arrive May 7 through Nike SNKRS JP.

Forbes Declares Kanye West a Billionaire

Kanye West has claimed the billionaire status before, but now he’s finally got the receipts to prove it. Forbes has officially declared the rapper is worth $1.3 billion, but according to Kanye that’s not good enough.

In a lengthy breakdown of the West’s financial reports — which included a look into his contract with adidas, royalties for YEEZY revenue, liquid assets, G.O.O.D. Music label, and debt — Forbes is sticking to its evaluation that Kanye is worth as close to $1.3 billion — $300 million more than his 22-year-old sister-in-law Kylie Jenner.

According to Forbes, the new findings come after the outlet faced backlash from West when he was not included in its annual billionaire’s list in March. The magazine reports the rapper shared documents with the outlet Thursday to set the record straight about his finances.

However, Kanye is still unhappy with the new report. Apparently, prior to the publication, ‘Ye texted Forbes: “It’s not a billion. It’s $3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count.”

VSP Consignment Debuts Menswear Offering

Toronto-based consignment store VSP Consignment has just announced the introduction of menswear to its already covetable line-up.

Launching online from today, the selection includes pieces from Acne Studios, Dries Van Noten, Commes des Garçons and more. Most recently, the site offered a selection of menswear during its Schitt’s Creek wardrobe sale last year. In fact, that sale – and Dan Levy’s iconic sweaters – were instrumental in bringing the new category to life.

Marlowe Granados, the content and partnerships manager for the brand, told FASHION, “VSP was interested in expanding our online store to include menswear to meet the demand from interested clients. Since partnering with Schitt’s Creek in October for the Schitt’s Creek wardrobe sale, we’ve acquired a whole new audience interested in both consigning, and buying menswear pieces. We can definitely thank Dan Levy’s iconic graphic sweaters [for that].”

The growth of the resale industry overall was another key factor, Granados explained. “We’ve carried menswear for a couple of years now, and people have become familiar with being able to shop those pieces in-store. As the resale industry grows, it only makes sense we cater to another large demographic of the community. Expect to find Dries Van Noten, Saint Laurent, CDG, Rick Owens and more,” she says of the VSP Consignment offering.

The Best Loungewear to Keep You Comfortable While Working from Home

244424.jpg

While working from home (or WFH) may no longer require a business casual dress code, there’s still some value in getting dressed and feeling fresh. We’re all for a pair of pyjamas for sick days but as we face the reality of many more WFH days, might we suggest opting for fashionable loungewear that still incorporates elastic waistbands and look stylish? Drawstrings and hoodies don’t have to go anywhere when luxe fabrics like cashmere and silk are part of the equation. Cozy separates or co-ordinated pieces help us find comfort in being at home and special details like ruffles or tailoring take relaxed fashion up a notch. Try thinking of casual wear as an outfit rather than picking up the first thing on top of the pile or whatever you’ll wear for your at-home workout later.
